just this afternoon, ethel left for dubai
it all came as a surprise to me
though she often talks about it
i didn't know that it'll be this soon
yesterday i was tapping her at devo
but she was busy with something else
then olive told me
that her flight will be today already
we didn't even get to talk
or say our goodbyes
this morning she texted me and i cried
she's one the first
and closest friend i had on church
suddenly i remember
all those spend times we spend together
when i was a young disciple
i know she had long wanted
to get out of the country
and have a better job
we've been praying for this
it's just so sad
that she has to go
and i'm really not good
dealing with goodbyes

apparently my new office doesn't honor
holidays like end of ramadan
so instead of sleeping on my warm bed
having a heroes marathon
while drowning myself into bunch of cheap snacks
i'm here in front of my pc
slightly annoyed that i soaked myself in the rain going here
and thinking what would i do for the rest of the day just to kill time
since i'm really not in my sanity to do anything "productive" today
ohh a tai tv perhaps? beckett is la la love
or a hollywood classic? again? hmm...
so ivy will be leaving in a two weeks time
which means i'll be the one doing all her works (plus my works)
i'm barely two months here
and i'm left with all the responsibilities
my superior asked me if i know someone
who can replace her position
and i'm recommending my friend mocs
hopefully, if she'll get in
we'll be together again forever haha
and it'll be more fun working with an old friend
one of my college friend emailed me with
save the date thing for her wedding
she'll get married next year
i suddenly realized that amongst my circle of friends back in college
i'm the only one who's single
xandee will get married two years from now
bea is already pregnant
and mocs will sooner or later tie the knot also
oh my i'm such a los(n)er hahaha
i just remember way back
they used to tease me that i'm the one who'll get married first
and fast forward, i don't even have a boyfriend right now
and no, i'm not complaining
i felt like its also not yet my time
to have any serious relationship
due to my late night lurking around other people's account
i found out that this guy, well he used to be a kid
when we watched him on skateboard competitions
like when he was just 12??
now already has a kid of his own
am i really that old?
have you seen chuck's episode last night
they did a spoof of the OC's countdown episode
in which chuck was running over a party wherein morgan was waiting
complete with dice ost hahaha ftw! i was laughing so hard
can you tell i'm really bored

so meng told me that my itching to color my hair blue
reminded her of the movie she recently watched
the boy with green hair
and then later narrated me with the story plot
i youtube-d it and found out its a 1940's classic
and to my surprise i found a channel
that caters to old hollywood films
including tom sawyer, huck finn and alice in wonderland
and other good stuff
now i'm having a marathon (again)
